Connect Shopify
Add useful store context while keeping capabilities and customer data constrained.
Connect a store
Install Sendvisor from Shopify admin. Sign in or create a Sendvisor account, then choose the workspace that should own the store. Open the agent's Connections screen to give that agent access.
Each workspace can have one Shopify store. A Stripe-subscribed workspace cannot connect Shopify; choose another workspace or cancel the Stripe subscription first. Shopify-connected workspaces manage their plan in Shopify admin.
Products, Orders, and Store policies are controlled separately. Enable only the context the agent should use. Sendvisor does not fetch a disabled capability.
Product questions
- Products requires Shopify's
read_productspermission. - Sendvisor searches using the customer's terms and can provide names, prices, stock, variants, specifications, SKUs, and product links when Shopify supplies them.
- Without a reliable match, the agent should ask a useful clarifying question rather than inventing details.
Order questions
- Orders requires Shopify's
read_orderspermission and covers the most recent 60 days. - Sendvisor looks up the original sender and uses order numbers or other terms from the message to improve the match.
- Order data is available to the drafting workflow only when the sender passes DMARC authentication. Failed or uncertain authentication withholds the data and can require human review.
- A matching order can provide payment, fulfilment, shipment, and tracking context. The agent must not promise account changes unless its instructions permit them.
Store policies
- Store policies requires Shopify's
read_legal_policiespermission. - Refund, shipping, privacy, terms, and other available written policies can be used when the customer asks a matching policy question.
- Sendvisor uses the policy text returned by Shopify and does not invent terms that are not present.
